실리콘(Silicon)은 원소기호 Si로 표시되는 규소를 의미하며, 암회색 금속성 물질이다. 반도체 공정에서 사용하는 Silicon은 초고순도의 금속 Silicon으로 원자가 3차원적으로 질서 정연하게 배열된 단결정 실리콘이다.
잉곳 성장설비의 핵심부품인 Hot Zone(폴리실리콘 용융로) 설계 및 성장요소 최적화 등 핵심기술을 자체적으로 보유한 당사는 직경 600mm 이상의 ingot을 국내 최초로 개발하였다.
